Gemini functions as an out of network provider that your insurance company may provide partial reimbursement for our services. Gemini is a direct care provider, meaning we operate independently of the confines of insurance based therapy. We have chosen to provide superior quality therapy tailored specifically toward your goals. Sessions at Gemini are 1:1 care and much longer than typical insurance based clinics. The result is more effective treatment in fewer sessions, typically 1-5 sessions for most cases. With co-pays rising into higher ranges patients will often spend more money and have mixed results at a traditional insurance based clinic due to the low efficiency of short sessions and higher amount of sessions required to make progress.

Therapy services may be submitted to your insurance company as out of network services. Gemini will provide an itemized invoice also known as a superbill for each visit or on a monthly basis. The superbill includes all relevant information for insurances (therapist license number, national provider identification number, tax ID etc.) and relevant patient information (ICD 10 codes for diagnoses, CPT billing codes etc.). The Superbill/invoice is provided directly to the patient to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.
